Who is your favourite author? Currently I can’t get enough Cormac McCarthy. I like authors who draw me into their worlds, which usually means they use an off beat writing style.
What is your favourite book? The Great Gatsby. Hands down. I read it at least once a year.
What is the first ebook you read? I believe it was Hemingway’s The Sun Also Rises. But when I first got my e-reader I devoured a ton of books at once so that’s a tough one to answer.
What is your favourite book cover? Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls the Scribner edition. The painting on the cover always seemed to match up well with Hemingway’s ability to paint landscapes with his words.
If you could be a character from any book, who would you be and why? Ishmael from Moby Dick. To go through an adventure like that with something as mysterious as the sea and a force as powerful as Moby Dick would be something. Plus I’d survive…that’s sort of a requirement. :)
